In accordance with the federal regulations, 24 CFR, Part 91, the City of Yonkers has prepared a draft Annual Action Plan for 2011 submission for its Community Development Programs. This document is a requirement for direct assistance under the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding programs including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Partnership Investment Program and the Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) program.
The City of Yonkers will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, arrival at 5:30 pm meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. to solicit citizen comments on the Annual Action Plan. The hearing will be held at the Yonkers Cedar Place School, 20 Cedar Place, Yonkers, NY.
The 2011 Annual Plan specifies available resources to meet the identified needs. The financial resources the City expects to have available include entitlement grants of $3,691,178 in CDBG funds, $1,947,323 in HOME funds and $165,766 in ESG.

The City of Yonkers intends to submit the Annual Action Plan to HUD on January 4, 2011 . Interested persons are encouraged to express their views on the proposed draft budget.
