TUESDAY, January 15th:
The City Council's new Environmental Committee will meet beginning at 6:00 pm, 4th floor, City Hall, to discuss the permanent seasonal leaf blower ban (see below), followed by the regularly scheduled City Council RULES committee meeting at 6:30pm:

Finally, there will also be a public presentation of the City's ALEXANDER STREET REDEVELOPMENT/MASTER PLAN from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Museum School also known as Riverside H. S., 565 Warburton Avenue. It is especially important that members of the community turn out for this meeting and future presentations (Thursday, January 17, Will Library, 7:00 pm, & a PUBLIC HEARING on Wed., January 23, City Hall at 6:30 pm) to learn and comment on the details of these plans, including 18 residential towers from 12-30 stories on the Yonkers waterfront.
